Golden Heaven is one of the most elegant teas available commercially. Elegant means very visually appealing, characterized by well-made, clean and stringy leaves. This tea is characterized by its fine shape (black sheen and distinctive golden yellow buds), glazed color, fragrant aroma, malty taste and superior quality. It is a distinctive specialty tea, so much so that when it was first exported to London, it was given the title of "special kind of tea". When brewed, the essential elements of the leaf are infused, giving a bright reddish liquor with a lively, lingering aroma with beautiful roasted notes.
Yunnan is the ideal place to grow tea. This one is characterized by :
a) an average annual temperature of 15 degrees C,
(b) a cumulative annual precipitation of 45 inches,
c) a relative humidity of 75% during the tea growing period,
d) an average soil pH of 4.5 - 6.5, an average altitude of 4000 - 6500 feet above sea level.
This tea is one of the best qualities available in Yunnan Province. It is produced only during the last two weeks of March and the first two weeks of April, when the growth of the new season accelerates in a special way that gives a high percentage of golden tip. Drink this tea and you will treat yourself to one of the greatest teas in the world.
